Adding Depth to an existing brand
AREA 5 was ready to diversify their brand, looking for a visual language that could reflect the depth and range of their storytelling. My role was to bring a bit more dimension and character to their brand, creating a cohesive look that could adapt to the variety of stories they tell. We worked together to make small but impactful updates—from a refreshed logo, to a streamlined website—that truly let their work shine.
This project was a lesson in light and what it means to be behind the lens and letting the client’s work shine through their brand: enhancing AREA 5’s visuals while keeping the focus right where it belongs—on the stories they bring to life.

ORIGINAL LOGO
Started in 2009, AREA 5 is a San Francisco-based video production company founded by digital media veterans and video gamers. They wanted a facelift on an existing logo. To convey that they’re “…still the same people we always were, just elevated ”
