Chegg x Mentos

The Brief: Generate awareness and build excitement for Mentos’ “Fresh Connections” promotion through a multi-channel approach, designed to inspire students to make fresh connections.


The Solution: Co-branded textbook boxes with Mentos mints, and gum samples inside // High Impact Digital ads // Dedicated email // social posts and more.

First Round – Design Mockup
While the colors were on point. It didn’t quite match Chegg’s brand. There was concern students would not recognize Chegg’s textbook boxes.

FINAL DESIGN

Ultimately, primary colors of Chegg, matched with the colors of Mentos gum, delivered a cohesive balance that complimented each other, while keeping both brands at the top of mind.
