Brand Partnership Music Contest

Over the last 8 years, Chegg Music 101 has developed into one of the largest back-to-school programs reaching millions of students on thousands of campuses nationwide. The program was launched in honor the life of David B. Goldberg, Director of Marketing Strategy at Capital Records. To celebrate Dave’s life, every winning school is awarded a $10,000 David B. Goldberg Grant, supporting the next generation of music innovators.

Contest Objective: Align a brand partner with a music artist, via Chegg Music 101 platform, that targets the college and high school audience.

Challenge: How to “marry” 3 brands into one cohesive contest, concert and AMA experience.

Outcome:
Drove 100,000+ votes with 2,500 schools voting
100MM+ total impressions including social Imps
